Overview

The primary function of the Brisbane WYD Secretariat is to provide support to communities and individuals planning to participate in WYD08 and its related events and programs. Two of the ways in which the Archdiocese seeks to provide this support is through the existence of the WYD Net Team and also the training and formation of local WYD Champions. Visit the WYD NET Team and WYD Champion pages to find out more about these initiatives and how they could be utilised in your local community. The Brisbane WYD Secretariat will also be looking for support from local people willing to donate their time and talents to assisting with WYD events and programs held in the Archdiocese in the lead up to WYD.
